Most of the attractions operate at their fullest in the summer months (from June to September). However, the town is so popular that there is always something happening, even in the depths of winter. As it’s on the coast, Blackpool does benefit from sea breezes – these can either be quite welcoming if it’s a scorching day, or unsightly in the wind and rain!

Is this the most iconic holiday attraction in Britain (outside of London)? Quite possibly. Blackpool Tower is very much a tongue-in-cheek place, with an emphasis on children’s entertainment and fast food. Nevertheless, it would be churlish to ignore it.
With its subtropical temperatures, Sandcastle can prove to be a welcoming break from the harsh English winds outside. There are indoor rollercoaster’s, pirate ships and slides to keep your whole family busy.
